Euphresco collaborative project
The Netherlands Institute for Vectors, Invasive plants and Plant Health (NIVIP) is part of the National Plant Protection Organization (NPPO) and the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). NIVIP’s core task is to carry out diagnostics of plant pests and diseases as well as that of arthropod vectors of animal diseases. NIVIP participates in research on the detection and diagnostics of organisms relevant for plant health. NIVIP carries out pest risk assessments as well as environmental risk assessment of arthropod biological control agents and is actively involved in policymaking both nationally and internationally.
