Euphresco collaborative project
CREA-Research Centre for Plant Protection and Certification deals with the protection of agricultural, ornamental and forestry plants and foodstuffs from biotic and abiotic agents and promotes the conservation and enhancement of agricultural and forest biodiversity. The Centre is the Official National Reference Institute for Plant Protection and deals with official analyses in relation to harmful organisms. The Centre is also national reference institution for the certification of pre-multiplication and seed materials, and the evaluation for the registration and release of plant variety rights.
Giuseppino Sabbatini-Peverieri is an entomologist in plant protection, working on invasive insects, pest monitoring, pest control (IPM and biological control), risk assessment, and training and advising in insect plant protection.
